UEFA increases solidarity payments and overhauls revenue distribution for European club competitions

UEFA will increase solidarity payments to clubs not competing in Europe from 4% to 7% of revenue starting in 2024-2025.
Total solidarity payments will be 10% of revenue; 3% for eliminated qualifying clubs, 7% for non-participating clubs.
Changes will provide €440 million per season or €1.32 billion over the cycle to smaller clubs.
New distribution system reduces market pool and coefficients factors and focuses more on participation and performance.
