Overview

  • UEFA added a further closure of the entire South Tribune for a subsequent match on a two-year probation, to be activated if similar incidents recur.
  • Bayern were also fined €40,000 for crowd disturbances and throwing objects and €30,000 for transmitting messages not fit for a sports event in the Arsenal away fixture.
  • Eintracht Frankfurt were fined €38,000, barred from selling away tickets for their next UEFA match, and ordered to contact Barcelona within 30 days to settle damage claims from Camp Nou.
  • UEFA also sanctioned other clubs, fining Sporting €40,000 with an away‑ticket ban, issuing Lille a €10,000 fine with a suspended ticket ban, and fining Maccabi Tel‑Aviv €20,000 for discriminatory behavior.
