- UEFA’s Executive Committee, meeting in Tirana on September 11, confirmed the Estadio Metropolitano as the venue for the men’s final on June 5, 2027.
- The Madrid stadium was selected over Baku’s Olympic Stadium after San Siro lost its earlier designation due to renovation plans that risked unavailability.
- It will be the Metropolitano’s second Champions League final, following the 2019 Liverpool–Tottenham decider held at the same ground.
