UConn and Louisville to Make History in Germany with Armed Forces Classic

The 2025-26 season opener will mark the first women's basketball game in the Armed Forces Classic at Ramstein Air Base.

The game between UConn and Louisville will take place on November 4, 2025, and will be broadcast on ESPN.
This will be the first time a women's college basketball game is featured in the Armed Forces Classic, an event that started in 2012.
UConn, led by head coach Geno Auriemma, is currently ranked No. 2, while Louisville, coached by Jeff Walz, is ranked No. 17.
The Armed Forces Classic has previously been held in locations such as South Korea, Puerto Rico, Japan, and Hawaii, with Ramstein hosting in 2012 and 2017.
Both teams expressed excitement about playing internationally and supporting military personnel by showcasing women's basketball on a global stage.
