- UCLA announced the policy on Wednesday, Sept. 16, and it takes effect for the football home game vs. Purdue on Saturday, Sept. 19.
- Eligible undergraduate and graduate students will get complimentary admission to regular-season home football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball games.
- Students who bought the 2026–27 Den Pass will receive automatic refunds by Sept. 25 and students can claim game tickets through their student ticket account starting the Monday of each game week.
- The school allows students to buy up to eight guest tickets for each home football game and is holding separate ticketing rules for the Nov. 28 USC rivalry game.
- Athletic director Tim Harris has already purchased giveaway tickets and changed attendance reporting as part of a push to reverse years of low Rose Bowl turnout caused by distance from campus, shuttle reliance and past coaching turnover.
