On3’s Pete Nakos reports Washington head coach Jedd Fisch has emerged as a candidate for UCLA’s vacancy.
Fisch previously served as UCLA’s offensive coordinator and interim head coach in 2017 and also spent time with the LA Rams.
He is in his second season at Washington with a reported 4-1 start and a reported $10 million buyout if he departs.
Other names identified include Dave Aranda, Brent Brennan and Oregon defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi, while interest in Ed Orgeron has cooled.
UCLA fired DeShaun Foster in Week 4 and installed Tim Skipper as interim; the Bruins are 2-0 under Skipper, including an upset of No. 7 Penn State, but he has not yet drawn serious consideration for the full-time job.
