The upcoming game introduces a player-designed base with gameplay-enhancing structures, animal companions, and expansive decoration options.

The Hideout in Assassin's Creed Shadows is over an acre of customizable land, allowing players to design and decorate their base with structures, pathways, and local flora and fauna.
Players can construct six main rooms, including a forge for weapon upgrades, a dojo for ally training, and a stables for resource-smuggling missions.
Seven themed rooms, such as a tea room for improved health restoration and a gallery for displaying armor, add unique gameplay benefits and personalization options.
The Hideout also features interactive elements, such as ally character interactions and the ability to collect and pet animals, including wild creatures like foxes and deer.
