Ubisoft Brings Assassin's Creed Mirage to Steam, Shifts Release Strategy

Ubisoft will now release games on Steam from day one, starting with Assassin's Creed Shadows in February 2025.

Assassin's Creed Mirage will be available on Steam later this month, marking a shift in Ubisoft's PC game distribution strategy.
The game was initially released in October 2023 on consoles and through the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft's own platform.
Mirage offers a more traditional Assassin's Creed experience with a focus on stealth and parkour, set in 9th-century Baghdad.
Following disappointing sales of Star Wars Outlaws, Ubisoft is revising its release strategy, including delaying Assassin's Creed Shadows to February 2025.
Ubisoft also plans to eliminate the season pass model from its future game releases, aiming to refine and polish upcoming titles.
