Uber Partners with Avride for Autonomous Deliveries and Rides

Uber has signed a multi-year agreement with Avride to integrate autonomous delivery robots and vehicles into its services.

Avride, formerly the self-driving division of Yandex, will provide sidewalk delivery robots and autonomous vehicles for Uber Eats and Uber ride-hailing services.
Uber Eats customers in Austin will soon receive deliveries from Avride's robots, with expansions planned for Dallas and Jersey City later this year.
Avride's autonomous cars are expected to be available for Uber rides in Dallas by 2025, as testing continues in Austin and Seoul.
Uber has recently secured partnerships with other autonomous vehicle companies, including Waymo, Cruise, and WeRide, to enhance its self-driving technology offerings.
Avride, now headquartered in Austin, has already completed 200,000 deliveries across five countries and plans to expand its fleet within Uber Eats to hundreds by 2025.
