• Senior Accounts replace the standard interface with larger fonts, fewer buttons and streamlined screens activated through the app’s accessibility settings or Simple Mode.
• Older riders can save frequent destinations, link a Medicare Flex card for eligible medical trips and charge rides to a family member’s payment method.
• Family account admins can book trips for seniors, adjust their saved settings and receive live updates on ride progress for added oversight.
• Uber intends to roll out Senior Accounts worldwide as it competes with Lyft’s recently introduced 'Lyft Silver' service.
