UAE Temperatures Drop Below 30°C as Brief Unsettled Spell Brings Showers This Week

Meteorologists link the cooler, showery pattern to the seasonal shift from autumn to winter.

Overview

  • The National Centre of Meteorology forecasts partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with light to moderate rain at intervals from November 3 to 7.
  • Daytime highs in Abu Dhabi and Dubai are expected to stay under 30°C, with Dubai evenings near 22°C and Abu Dhabi nights about 24°C by Friday.
  • Winds will vary between northwesterly and southeasterly at 10–25 km/h, occasionally strengthening to around 40 km/h.
  • Seas will be generally calm to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman, turning rough at times westward in the Gulf when winds freshen.
  • Increased cloud and showers are most likely over western and coastal areas, with early-morning humidity or mist possible and cooler readings in the mountains compared with inland areas.
