• The Ministry of Foreign Affairs launched a round-the-clock hotline for Golden Visa holders at +97124931133 to handle emergencies while they are overseas.
• UAE missions will coordinate with local authorities to ensure inclusion of Golden Visa residents in evacuation and crisis response plans.
• If a passport is lost or damaged abroad, an electronic Return Document can be requested via the authority’s website with issuance stated to take 30 minutes.
• Consular services now include repatriation or burial support for deaths abroad and streamlined procedures to assist families.
• Announced on October 14 as a MoFA–ICP collaboration, the rollout augments the Golden Visa program created in 2019 to offer up to 10 years of residency.
