Overview
- The UAE Cabinet, chaired by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, confirmed 3,567 federal housing decisions for 2025 totaling AED2.546bn ($693m).
- Annual approvals include 524 presidential grants worth AED356.3m, 623 government housing loans worth AED270.2m, 32 government grants or benefits totaling AED25.4m, and 2,388 housing financing decisions worth AED1.894bn.
- In the fourth quarter, the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme issued 599 decisions valued at AED478m, including two presidential grants, 31 loans, eight grants or benefits, and 558 financing decisions.
- Separately, Abu Dhabi approved a National Day housing package worth AED4bn for 3,310 citizens, comprising AED2.27bn in loans, AED1.51bn in grants and ready homes, and AED208m in loan relief under the Emirati Family Growth programme.
- The Abu Dhabi package was approved by Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan under the directives of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, taking the emirate’s 2025 housing benefits to AED15.384bn for 10,718 citizens.
