• U2 performed their cover of Darlene Love’s ‘Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)’ for the first time in nearly 36 years at the Las Vegas Sphere.
• The band last performed the track in December 1987 as they closed out the ‘Joshua Tree’ tour at the Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Arizona.
• The band's Las Vegas residency, originally scheduled to end on December 16, has been extended until March 2024.
• The residency will total 40 shows, with the final performance scheduled for March 2.
• During the residency, U2 has also covered the Pogues, performed 'Shallow' with Lady Gaga, and paid tribute to the late Sinéad O’Connor.
