Tyler Perry to write, direct, produce feature films for Netflix including upcoming titles: "Six Triple Eight," a World War II story featuring Kerry Washington and "Mea Culpa" starring Kelly Rowland, marking a continuation of his successful collaboration with the streaming giant.

Tyler Perry has signed a multi-year first-look agreement with Netflix, under which he will write, direct, and produce feature films.
Perry's forthcoming Netflix originals include 'Six Triple Eight,' featuring Kerry Washington in a story about the first and only Women's Army Corps unit of color stationed overseas during WWII, and 'Mea Culpa,' starring Kelly Rowland as a criminal defense attorney.
Perry has previously worked extensively with Netflix, delivering successful titles like 'A Jazzman’s Blues,' 'A Fall from Grace,' and 'A Madea Homecoming
Before this Netflix deal, Perry signed a four-film production agreement with Amazon in November 2022.
'Maxine’s Baby,' a documentary about Perry's life and career, has been in the making for nearly a decade and is set to premiere at the upcoming AFI Film Festival and will be distributed by Amazon Studios.
