Two Youths Arrested After Armed Incident Prompts Emergency Alert in Southeast New Brunswick

New Brunswick RCMP issued an alert after a shooting in Salisbury, leading to the arrest of two youths and a search for a stolen vehicle.

An emergency alert was issued on Monday evening warning of an armed individual in the Salisbury and Moncton area.
RCMP were called to Main Street in Salisbury around 7 p.m. after reports of a shooting, where a 48-year-old man was found with non-life-threatening injuries.
The alert described the suspect as driving a silver, mud-covered Ford F150 pickup truck with a possible Nova Scotia licence plate HDC 958.
Two youths were arrested without incident later in the evening in Salisbury, and the alert was cancelled just after midnight.
Police confirm the silver pickup truck was stolen from Central Blissville and are still searching for the vehicle.
