Two Young Men Fatally Shot in Separate NYC Incidents

Queens and Bronx shootings leave two dead, with no arrests made and investigations ongoing.

Jean Pierre Rengifo-Arteaga, 23, was shot in the head, right forearm, and stomach at his home in North Corona, Queens.
The Queens shooting marks the second fatal incident in the 115th Precinct this week, following the death of Carlos Solano, 43.
A 24-year-old man, yet to be identified, was shot multiple times in the back outside a salon in Morris Heights, Bronx.
Both victims were pronounced dead at local hospitals, with Rengifo-Arteaga at Elmhurst Hospital and the Bronx victim at St. Barnabas Hospital.
Police are actively searching for suspects and reviewing surveillance footage, but no arrests have been made in either case.
