Overview

• The attack took place around 3:30pm on June 15 in Brookfield Park, Rustington, near Littlehampton in West Sussex.
• The dog was described as small, dark-coloured and Terrier-like and was alone at the time of the incident.
• The two-year-old victim sustained lacerations to her nose, lip and cheek and remains under hospital care.
