Overview

• Dibrugarh police arrested Sudarshan Nayak, 41, and Sunil Mura or Munda, 31, both workers at Dirial Tea Estate, in connection with the alleged rape and murder.
• The child went missing on September 22 after a tribute programme to singer Zubeen Garg at the estate and was found the next morning partially naked in a canal in section No. 17.
