Two women were pronounced dead at the scene of a house fire in Aberdeen.
A baby was taken to the hospital as a precaution and was later discharged.
Five additional casualties were treated by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
Seven fire appliances and two specialist units were mobilized to extinguish the fire.
A joint investigation by Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service is ongoing, but there are no apparent suspicious circumstances at this time.
