Two Women Charged with Murder and Theft Using Victim's Severed Thumb

Fasil Teklemariam, 53, was found dead in his Washington, D.C., apartment on April 5 with multiple injuries and a missing thumb.
Tiffany Taylor Gray, 22, and Audrey Denise Miller, 19, were arrested and charged with first-degree murder and armed felony murder.
The suspects reportedly used Teklemariam's severed thumb to unlock his phone and steal money from his accounts.
Surveillance footage showed the suspects entering and exiting Teklemariam's apartment multiple times before his body was discovered.
Investigators are still searching for Teklemariam's thumb and other missing electronic devices.
