Two Tourists Die After Being Swept Out to Sea by Giant Wave in Hawaii

A high surf advisory was in effect when a massive wave pulled three people into the ocean at Oahu's Ke Iki Beach, leading to two fatalities.

Susie Jett, 72, from Oklahoma, and Bryan Kunic, 63, from California, died after being swept away by a wave at Ke Iki Beach.
Jett's daughter, Laura Rich, 41, was also pulled into the ocean and remains hospitalized in serious condition.
The incident occurred on October 14, during a high surf advisory with waves reaching up to 18 feet.
Ke Iki Beach on Oahu's North Shore is known for its dangerous shore breaks and lacks a lifeguard tower.
A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support the families affected by this tragedy, raising nearly $6,000 so far.
