Overview

• Colorado State Patrol says the crash happened Monday evening on private property at an abandoned golf course near Rolling Ridge Road southeast of Colorado Springs.
• A 14-year-old was taken to a hospital by ambulance with serious injuries, and a 13-year-old was flown by air ambulance with life-threatening injuries.
• Preliminary findings indicate both dirt bikes became airborne on the same hill from opposite sides, resulting in the 14-year-old's rear tire striking the 13-year-old's head.
