Two Teenagers Killed in Northumberland Three-Vehicle Crash
Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage as three others, including two from the same vehicle as the victims, remain hospitalized with serious injuries.
- Two teenagers, Connor Lapworth, 18, and Corey Mavin, 15, both from Blyth, were killed in a three-vehicle crash in Cramlington, Northumberland on Friday night.
- The victims were in a Suzuki Vitara with two other males, aged 41 and 17, who suffered serious injuries and remain in hospital.
- The other vehicles involved in the crash were a Range Rover Evoque and a Ford Focus. The 36-year-old female driver of the Range Rover suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital, while the 52-year-old female driver of the Ford Focus was uninjured.
- Northumbria Police are urging witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the area around the time of the incident to come forward.
- The police are offering support to the families of the victims and those injured, and are asking for their privacy to be respected.
