Two Staff Members Injured in Philadelphia Middle School Stabbing

A suspect has been arrested following a stabbing incident at Castor Gardens Middle School, leaving two employees injured.

The stabbing occurred at Castor Gardens Middle School in Northeast Philadelphia shortly after noon.
The victims, aged 63 and 31, are both staff members at the school and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The older victim was hospitalized as a precaution, while the younger victim declined medical treatment.
Police have arrested a suspect, who is reportedly a special-needs student at the school, and recovered the weapon used.
The school was placed on lockdown for approximately 90 minutes, but normal operations resumed before 2 p.m.
