Two Stabbings in France Leave One Dead and Another Critically Injured

- The suspect in the Livry-Gargan case, a 39-year-old man, was apprehended nearby and found in possession of a machete and a knife; his motives remain unclear.
- In a separate incident on Tuesday, February 4, a 17-year-old student was critically injured in a stabbing at Saint-Gabriel High School in Bagneux, Hauts-de-Seine.
- The alleged perpetrator in the Bagneux case, a 20-year-old student from the same school, was arrested shortly after fleeing the scene, along with an accomplice.
- Police have launched investigations into both cases, with the Livry-Gargan attack classified as murder and the Bagneux incident as attempted murder.
