Overview
- The Instituto Geofísico del Perú logged a magnitude 3.4 quake at 17:01 with an epicenter about 41 kilometers west of Ancón and a depth of 46 kilometers.
- Eleven minutes later the IGP recorded a magnitude 3.7 event at 17:12 centered roughly 31 kilometers west of San Vicente de Cañete at a depth of 58 kilometers.
- Measured felt intensities were grade II in Ancón and grade III in San Vicente de Cañete and officials reported no damage or casualties linked to either event.
- The Centro Sismológico Nacional published rapid technical reports listing time, magnitude, depth and felt intensity and there have been no subsequent alerts or damage reports.
