Two Shootings in Lawndale Leave One Dead, Five Wounded

Chicago's West Side experiences a violent day with multiple victims in separate incidents; police investigations are ongoing.

A 29-year-old man was killed and two others were injured in a backyard shooting on West Cermak Road.
Three males, including a 15-year-old boy, were wounded in a drive-by shooting on South Lawndale Avenue.
All injured victims were transported to Mount Sinai Hospital and are in good condition.
No suspects have been arrested in connection with either shooting.
Chicago police are actively investigating both incidents.
