  • In Sverdlovsk’s Irbit district around 20:00, a VAZ-2110 hit three people walking on the shoulder, killing a 16-year-old boy and injuring a 15-year-old girl and a 21-year-old woman.
  • Police say the Irbit driver abandoned the car and fled, and officers later located a 20-year-old resident identified as the driver.
  • The Irbit inter-district prosecutor’s office took the case under control and said preliminary information indicates the deceased may be the driver’s stepson.
