Two Separate Murder Investigations Launched in North London

A man and a woman have been fatally stabbed in Harrow and Edmonton, prompting police to arrest suspects known to the victims.

In Harrow, a 48-year-old man was fatally stabbed at a home on Sussex Road, leading to the arrest of a 37-year-old suspect, Javan Lee.
The Harrow suspect, who also sustained minor injuries, has been charged with murder and appeared in court on Friday.
In Edmonton, a 62-year-old woman was found dead with stab wounds at a residence on Westerham Avenue, and a 55-year-old woman known to her was arrested.
Both incidents are believed to be isolated, with no ongoing risk to public safety, according to police statements.
Increased police patrols are being conducted in both areas to reassure local residents as investigations continue.
