Two Separate Motorcycle Crashes Kill Massachusetts Men in Providence and Fall River
Officials report ongoing probes with no indication of suspicious circumstances in the Fall River case.
Overview
- Scott Langlois, 51, of New Bedford, died after a Tuesday night crash on Route 24 North near Exit 2 in Fall River, according to the Bristol County district attorney's office.
- Troopers found Langlois on the grass near a highway crash barrier and later located his motorcycle in the median of the off-ramp.
- Investigators have not determined what led to the Fall River crash, which the district attorney's office says does not appear suspicious.
- In a separate incident Sunday, Cedrix Teixeira, 26, of Bridgewater, died after his motorcycle went over the guardrail of a Route 6 West overpass in Providence.
- Providence fire officials said Teixeira fell about 60 feet to the Route 10 on-ramp at Westminster Street and was pronounced dead at Rhode Island Hospital as state police continue to investigate.
