Two Separate Car Collisions with Horses Result in Fatalities

The horse involved in the Agathenburg accident died at the scene, and the police are investigating the circumstances surrounding its escape.
In a separate incident in the Landkreis Südwestpfalz, a horse was struck and killed by a car early in the morning on the L474 road.
The driver in the Südwestpfalz collision was unharmed, but the vehicle suffered total damage estimated at 20,000 euros.
Both accidents led to temporary road closures for police investigations and cleanup operations.
