Two People and a Dog Killed in Pre-Dawn Adams County House Fire

The cause remains under investigation by county authorities, with victim identities pending from the coroner.

  • Crews responded at 1:49 a.m. Sunday to a structure fire in the 800 block of Bronco Road, northwest of I-25 and U.S. 36.
  • Firefighters arrived to find the rear of the home fully engulfed, with flames spreading through the interior and into the attic.
  • Two people and a dog inside the residence were confirmed dead at the scene by Adams County Fire Rescue.
