  • The first incident occurred around 1 p.m. on July 2 when a pizza delivery moped struck a woman on Urzaiz near Plaza de Fernando el Católico.
  • Around 8:50 p.m. the same day, a car hit another woman on the Doutor Carracido crosswalk in O Calvario, leaving her injured at the scene.
  • Both drivers remained on site while Policía Local de Vigo and the 061 ambulance service treated and transported each victim to hospital.
  • This marks the second accident at the Doutor Carracido crossing in under three months after an April crash injured a teenager.
  • Local authorities have opened investigations into the causes of the collisions and are assessing infrastructure and driver behavior in key pedestrian zones.
