Overview
- Nancy Estela Godoy, a 52-year-old rural teacher, has been missing since she was last seen or contacted while traveling to Escuela Rural N°626 on Oct. 6–7.
- Prosecutors Javier Mosquera and Andrea González ordered the arrest of Rosa Leguizamón and her partner Nahuel Rojas on suspicion of aggravated concealment after finding contradictions in testimony, bringing the total detained to three.
- Investigators earlier seized four knives and clothing with reddish stains from peon Ernesto Ezequiel Bordón’s property and those items are undergoing forensic testing to determine whether the stains are human blood.
- Godoy’s family handed auditors and videos to the Fiscalía that they say could reconstruct her last movements and raised questions about the final WhatsApp message and whether a third party may have sent it.
- Large-scale ground and aerial searches are continuing across flooded fields and dense scrub with provincial helicopters and reinforcements expected, while defense lawyers allege coercion during detentions and prosecutors say evidence may change charges as tests and interviews proceed.
