Overview

• A 46-year-old man, identified as Adrian Isiah McManus, drowned Saturday morning after swimming off a boat without a life vest; the Grand Prairie Public Safety Dive Team recovered his body around 11:20 a.m.
• On Sunday afternoon, a 55-year-old man fell from a paddleboard and was found unresponsive by the Grand Prairie Public Safety Dive Team
• Neither victim was wearing a personal flotation device when they drowned, according to Grand Prairie Fire Department officials
• These incidents increase the death toll at Joe Pool Lake to four since two men drowned in early May
• The Grand Prairie Fire Department strongly urges all visitors to wear life vests while in or near the water to prevent further tragedies
