Two Migrants Charged with Murder of Chicago Man Met Through Dating App

Suspects, one wearing an ICE ankle monitor, allegedly tied up, beat, and robbed the victim before spending thousands on his credit card.

  • The suspects, Jefferson Ubilla-Delgado, 29, from Venezuela, and Geiderwuin Bello Morales, 21, from Ecuador, are undocumented immigrants who entered the U.S. in 2023.
  • One suspect, Bello Morales, was wearing a Department of Homeland Security ankle monitor at the time of the alleged crime due to a prior arrest for child luring weeks earlier.
  • The suspects allegedly stole Levin’s phone and credit card, using it to make over $4,000 in purchases, including multiple Amazon orders.
  • Both men have been charged with first-degree murder and robbery and are scheduled to appear in court later this week.
