• A 39-year-old man was shot multiple times in the abdomen in front of the Hammel Houses on Rockaway Beach Boulevard around 7:45 p.m. and later died at Brookdale University Hospital.
• At about 1:15 a.m., a 37-year-old man was wounded in the stomach and left leg inside a Hammel Houses lobby and was taken conscious to Jamaica Hospital, where he is expected to recover.
