Two Men Sentenced for Car Attack on NHS Worker During Covid Lockdown

- Phillip Adams and Patrick James were sentenced to a combined total of over 14 years in prison for conspiracy to inflict grievous bodily harm.
- Adams fled to Dubai before his trial and was sentenced in absentia to six years in prison, while James received eight years and six months.
- James was also convicted for a similar car attack on cyclist Julian Ford in Avonmouth, Bristol, on July 12, 2020.
- The attackers used racial slurs and celebrated their actions, leaving Tjitendero with severe injuries that required surgery.
