Overview

• Officers responded just after 7 a.m. to the 6800 block of Longview Road at a grocery store parking lot in south Kansas City.
• One man was found at the front of the store with gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
• A second man located on the north side of the parking lot was taken to a hospital and died around 9 a.m.
• Investigators report a confrontation involving multiple people outside the store before the gunfire.
