Overview

• A man was fatally shot while eating at an outdoor seafood stand in Colonia Libertad Parte Baja around 6:36 p.m. on Oct. 1.
• Police found at least two spent casings at the stall, and witnesses reported a gray sedan leaving the area, with some neighbors also noting a white Ford Ranger speeding away.
• In a separate case hours earlier, a man was killed inside a small wooden home between Zapata and Artículo Número 4 in Colonia Maclovio Rojas after gunshots were reported around 1:30 p.m.
• Cruz Roja paramedics confirmed both victims showed no signs of life, and municipal police secured the scenes for the Fiscalía General del Estado to process.
• The FGE collected evidence and sent the bodies to Semefo for necropsy, and authorities have reported no detentions.
