Overview
- A two-car collision on the N21 at Ballymurragh West, Co Limerick, around 12:50am left the driver of one car dead at the scene.
- In the Limerick crash, two teenage girls and a man in his late teens were seriously injured, and a man in his 20s sustained non-life-threatening injuries; all four were in the second car.
- A separate single-vehicle crash on the N24 at Cordangan Cross near Tipperary town around 9:45pm killed a man in his 20s who was traveling alone.
