Two Men Fatally Stabbed in Separate Delhi Attacks as Police Make Arrests

Police attribute both killings to personal disputes, citing CCTV footage in one case, a recovered knife in the other.

Overview

  • A 25-year-old man from New Usmanpur was found with multiple stab wounds around 11:40 pm Friday and was declared brought dead at JPC Hospital.
  • Police in New Usmanpur apprehended three suspects, including two minors, recovered the knife, registered a murder and joint liability case, and sent the body to GTB Hospital for post-mortem.
  • Around 10:00 pm the same night in Govindpuri, a 23-year-old with neck and abdominal stab wounds was rushed to AIIMS Trauma Centre, where he was declared dead.
  • Delhi Police arrested Aman alias Buddha, 19, as the prime accused in the Govindpuri case following CCTV analysis and field inquiries, with searches underway for additional suspects.
