Two Men Fatally Shot Overnight in Separate Chicago Incidents

The shootings occurred in West Englewood and West Garfield Park, with no suspects in custody.

A 54-year-old man was found shot in the chest on South Claremont Avenue in West Englewood around 1:05 a.m.
The victim was taken to UChicago Medicine and was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
A separate incident occurred around midnight in West Garfield Park, where a 47-year-old man was shot in the head on West Grenshaw Street.
The second victim was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital and later pronounced dead.
Chicago police have not taken anyone into custody for either shooting, and investigations are ongoing.
