Two Men Charged with Murder of Andrew Main Following Swansea Assault

Andrew Main, a father of two, died in hospital a month after the July attack; suspects deny charges and face trial in January.

Andrew Main, 33, from Falkirk, was assaulted near a Travelodge in Swansea on July 17.
Main succumbed to his injuries on August 14 after spending a month in the hospital.
Joseph Dix, 26, and Macauley Ruddock, 27, initially charged with grievous bodily harm, now face murder charges.
Both suspects pleaded not guilty at Swansea Crown Court and are set to stand trial in January 2025.
Main's sister described him as a beloved family man, and the community has been deeply affected by his death.
