Two Men Arrested in Connection with Devon Marsman's Disappearance, Now Deemed Homicide

Halifax police confirm the body of the missing teen has been found, and charges have been filed against two individuals.

  • Devon Sinclair Marsman, 16, was last seen in February 2022 in the Spryfield area of Halifax and reported missing on March 4, 2022.
  • Halifax police announced the arrests of 26-year-old Treyton Alexander Marsman and a 20-year-old man, who was a youth at the time of the murder.
  • Treyton Marsman faces charges of second-degree murder, indignity to human remains, and obstruction of justice, while the 20-year-old is charged with accessory after the fact to murder and obstructing justice.
  • The remains, believed to be Devon Marsman's, are now with the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner's Office for official identification.
  • Police indicated that more arrests are expected and urged anyone with information to come forward.
