Overview
- Fire crews extinguished two separate residential fires in Louisville over the weekend with no reported civilian or firefighter injuries.

- In Russell, firefighters responded to the 200 block of S. 23rd Street around 1 p.m., battled heavy rear and second-floor fire that spread to a neighboring house, and evacuated three adults who were left displaced.
- About 40 firefighters used multiple handlines and interior attack to control the Russell incident in roughly 43–45 minutes and to limit further spread between the two homes.
