Overview
- On Friday around 8:30 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of West Saratoga Street and found a 23-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman shot; the man died at a hospital and the woman’s injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
- On Saturday about 2:30 p.m., police arrived at the 3100 block of West North Avenue to find three men shot; one man was pronounced dead at the scene and two were hospitalized with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
- Police reported no arrests or publicly released suspect identifications in either case, and both shootings remain active homicide investigations.
- Witnesses told WBAL a white car stopped on North Avenue before a man got out and fired toward people on the sidewalk, then continued shooting as they fled.
- Investigators urged tips to the Baltimore Police homicide unit at 410-396-2100 or to Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP, as residents voiced concern about recurring violence and limited community services.
