Two Killed in East Harlem Motorcycle and SUV Collision

A man and woman lost their lives in an early morning crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV, with the driver hospitalized and police investigating.

Two people on a motorcycle were killed after colliding with an SUV in East Harlem early Sunday morning.
The incident occurred around 4:40 a.m. near East 106th Street and 3rd Avenue.
The victims, a 32-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The SUV driver, a 30-year-old man, remained at the scene and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in stable condition.
An investigation is ongoing, with no arrests made, as traffic fatalities involving motorcycles have risen this year.
