Two Killed, Children Injured in Colton Crash as Driver Is Arrested on Suspicion of DUI

Police are investigating impairment, with a request for witnesses.

  • The collision occurred around 10:13–10:15 p.m. on Nov. 28 at Mill Street and Ohio Street and involved a 2014 Toyota Camry and a 2013 BMW.
  • A 25-year-old man in the Camry and a 19-year-old man in the BMW were pronounced dead at the scene, according to Colton police.
  • Three children from the Camry were taken to a trauma center, with two listed as critical but stable and a third released with minor injuries.
  • The Camry’s driver, identified as 24-year-old Arianna Obryan of San Bernardino, was booked on suspicion of DUI, vehicular manslaughter and child endangerment.
  • Police classified the crash as DUI-related but have not released toxicology findings and asked anyone with information to contact the Colton Police Department.
